PillBox helps you remember your daily medications, supplements, and vitamins, with Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets so you can mark doses without opening the app.
Questions, bugs, or feedback? Email [email protected] and I'll get back to you. PillBox is built and maintained by one developer, so replies may take some time
How do I add a medication? Open the My Meds tab and tap the add button. Pick a shape and color, set the name, strength, dose, and the time(s) you take it. Choose "Every day" for a recurring medication or "One time" for a single dose.
How do reminders work? For "Every day" medications, PillBox sends a notification at each scheduled time, plus a follow-up reminder if you haven't marked the dose taken. Make sure notifications are allowed in iOS Settings โ PillBox โ Notifications.
How do I mark a dose as taken? Tap the checkbox next to the dose on the Today screen, or tap it directly in the Home Screen / Lock Screen widget โ no need to open the app.
Can I edit or delete a medication? Yes. Tap a medication in My Meds to edit its details, or delete it. Past doses you already logged are kept so your history stays intact.
Is my data private? Yes. Everything stays on your device. PillBox has no account, no servers, and collects no personal data. See the Privacy Policy: https://nekitos.notion.site/Pillbox-Privacy-Policy-348d1b241d5280a5a291d1500a6cef77
Why don't "one-time" medications send reminders? One-time doses are tracked on your Today screen but don't schedule a notification. Use an "Every day" schedule if you want a reminder.
The widget shows the wrong day or is out of date. Widgets refresh on Apple's schedule. Open the app once to force a refresh; the widget updates right after.
PillBox is a wellness and habit-tracking tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Always follow the guidance of your doctor or pharmacist about your medications.
